Without U, there is no us.
With 14 branches throughout Lancaster County, Union Community Bank is one of the area’s last remaining community banks.
What makes a community bank different? It’s not just local decision-making or friendly service. It’s our unique perspective. As a true community bank, we don’t just know the local economy – we’re part of it. We offer traditional loan and deposit products to customers located in Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County.
Our history dates back to 1853, when Union National Mount Joy Bank (UNCB) was granted a federal banking charter. Province Bank FSB was formed by Donegal Mutual Insurance Company and Donegal Group Inc. in 2000. Effective on May 6, 2011 the parent companies of UNCB and Province Bank merged to become Union Community Bank.
Union Community Bank, its leadership and staff are invested in the Lancaster community on a personal level as well as a business level. We serve on the boards of local charities and civic organizations. You’ll see us at your PTO meetings, your house of worship, your high school’s basketball games.
As part of the fabric of the community, we know that if Lancaster County prospers, we prosper; if it struggles, we struggle. That’s why we keep local money local, investing what we earn back into the local business community. And it’s why we work to make Mount Joy and Manheim, Centerville and Columbia, Elizabethtown and Ephrata – and every other community we belong to – better for its residents and its businesses.
Because when you bank with a true community bank, the whole community wins.
