East Donegal Music In The Park

The East Donegal Township Park Commission and the East Donegal Township Board of Supervisors will once again present the Music In The Park series! Concerts are held at Fuhrman Park in Maytown, scheduled on each Sunday evening beginning June 4th and continuing through August 27th. Programs scheduled during June and July will begin at 7:00 pm and all programs scheduled in August will begin at 6:30 pm. Check below for the full lineup:

Sunday, June 4, 2017, 7:00 pm: Working Man’s Band

The program will be presented by the Working Man’s Band.

Sunday, June 11, 2017, 7:00 pm: Twin Rose Community Band

The Twin Rose Community Band will play a blend of patriotic music and popular selections for big bands.

Sunday, June 18, 2017, 7:00 pm: The HepCats

The HeCats will perform a blend of swing music with a touch of the blues.

Sunday, June 25, 2017, 7:00 pm: Fire In The Glen

The program will feature the band Fire In The Glen.

Sunday, July 2, 2017, 7:00 pm: Ms. Sandy Heisey

Ms. Sandy Heisey will be presenting a program featuring a broad range of musical selections, ranging from gospel to show tunes. This program will be presented indoors at the Longwood Manor Personal Care Center.

Sunday, July 9, 2017, 7:00 pm: Bainbridge Band

The Bainbridge Band will be playing rousing marches, toe tapping favorites and a variety of familiar and unique selections.

Sunday, July 16, 2017, 7:00 pm: The Malta Band

The Malta Band’s program will consist of a wide variety of music by a band that has been in and around Lancaster for over 60 years.

Sunday, July 23, 2017, 7:00 pm: Temple Avenue

Temple Avenue will take classic swing tunes and gives them a fresh spin. Temple Avenue is a tight, high-energy quintet that features some of the best young jazz musicians in the region.

Sunday, July 30, 2017, 7:00 pm: The Rampart Street Ramblers

The Rampart Street Ramblers will be playing New Orleans style jazz.

Sunday, August 6, 2017, 6:30 pm: The Ravens

The Ravens, a Lancaster based oldies rock and roll group will be playing a mix of 60’s and 70’s and 80’s oldies.

Sunday, August 13, 2017, 6:30 pm: Not Quite Einstein

Not Quite Einstein, a Hershey based oldies rock group will be playing a mix of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock and roll music.

Sunday, August 20, 2017, 6:30 pm: Ms. Sandy Heisey

This will be an encore program presented by Ms. Sandy Heisey. Sandy will present a program that features a broad range of musical selections, ranging from popular to gospel to show tunes. This program will be presented indoors at the Longwood Manor Personal Care Center.

Sunday, August 27, 2017, 6:30 pm: The Rohrerstown Band

Rohrerstown Band will be playing various marches and other selections to round out our summer program.
